Monica is a registered psychologist who transitioned into higher education after working as a school psychologist and then at the Australian Psychological Society as the Psychologists in Schools National Advisor. Monica was the inaugural Chair of the APS Psychologists in Schools Interest Group and published Australia’s first Handbook of Australian School Psychology. Monica’s research focus is on improving educational outcomes for disadvantaged young people and improving wellbeing for teachers and school/educational communities
