How to Use
- Change at home or school: Pick a card for how you are feeling at home/school at the moment. Now pick a card for how you would like to be feeling. Spread out the five ‘able’ cards … which one will be most helpful in getting you where you want to be?
- For families: Which of the cards would you, as a family, like to work on? What strengths do you have that you could use to work through these?
- Building empathy in groups: What thoughts/feelings does each group member think they handle well/least well? What helps when you are feeling like this? How can we help each other when someone is struggling with these thoughts/feelings?
- Emotional intelligence: Which cards represent feelings you have often? Which feelings would you like to be able to manage better? What’s one thing you could do today towards making this change?
