The Ups and Downs tool box

Additional ideas, information and resources

The sea is a wild and unpredictable place … the perfect metaphor for the ups and downs of our journey through life.

The very relatable ‘everyperson’ created by Ray Bowler for Ups and Downs makes it easy for us to reflect on our own person journey, to have important conversations with others, and to realise that whatever the sea of life might throw at us, there are always choices we can make.

So let’s take to our bathtubs and get started, shall we?

In this toolbox, you’ll find:

  • the digital booklet which not only includes many great ideas for using the cards across a broad range of settings and situations, but also a foreword by adventurer, James Castrission, who in 2008 crossed the Tasman Sea by kayak
  • access to a digital set of the cards so you can use them anywhere, anytime
  • ideas banks, blogs, card hack videos, interviews and other support material.

We hope you’ll also be inspired by the stories of others, and the imaginative ways they’ve used the cards in their work. Don’t forget to explore the range of supporting materials and information at your fingertips any time you need it.

This toolbox is exclusively for people who have purchased the cards. We will continue to add resources and ideas, so check in regularly to see what’s new!
