A collection of reflective resources for exploring personal relationships, parenting, family dynamics and strengths.
Every relationship can be complex at times, whether it’s a close friendship, a life partnership, a parent/carer and child, or the dynamics of a family. By focussing on our strengths, stories and resources, we are better able to navigate our way through difficult times and create deeper and more respectful relationships.
The new Exploring Relationships bundle has a focus on supporting families, in all their diversity, to create positive and meaningful connections. These cards invite us to reflect on the challenges of separation, the difficulties and rewards of parenting, how to recognise respectful and abusive behaviours, and how we can mobilise our strengths to meet challenges and find solutions.
This bundle includes:
Two Worlds was designed by separation counsellors and child and family workers to support reflective conversations with anyone experiencing significant transitions and life changes.
No Room for Family Violence is ideal for assisting young people and adults to recognise abusive and respectful behaviour in intimate partner relationships.
Strength Cards were created for anyone who wants to encourage positive outcomes by focussing on strengths and capacities rather than problems and deficits. The cards emphasise that our strengths are our most valuable resources to draw on in good times and in times of adversity.
Positive Parenting invites parents and carers to share their parenting stories and speak about their hopes and dreams for their children and themselves.
Each card set comes with exclusive access to an online Toolbox of extras, including a digital booklet containing activity ideas, access to a digital set of the cards, ideas banks, blogs, card hack videos, interviews and other support material.
