Card hacks for… Signposts

Facilitator: Alison Krusec

Amidst the busyness of life, with so many things vying for our attention, it can be hard to find the time and space to have conversations about the truly important questions—meaning, significance, belief, connectedness, transformation …

Signposts provides pathways into these big topics in a simple, yet incredibly meaningful way. Without being based on any one theology, doctrine or philosophy, the cards can inspire conversation and reflection on life’s purpose and the things we hold closest to our hearts.

In this 30-minute FREE online session we will explore:

  • How reflecting on our personal beliefs and philosophies can help us build resilience and foster inclusion, respect and hope.
  • Setting up safe spaces for having open, respectful conversations about values and beliefs.
  • Using Signposts as a journalling tool and creative writing prompt.
  • Ideas for using Signposts in our work with others to build rapport, connection and understanding.
  • Questions that can stimulate meaningful conversations.
  • Feedback we’ve received from others about how they use the cards in their work and life.

This session is ideal for social workers, psychologists, counsellors, teachers, human service professionals, chaplains, journallers, creative writers, and anyone who wants to explore meaning and purpose in their life.
