Creating moments of self-care at work
overview
Self-care is essential for those in helping professionals to sustain themselves emotionally, physically, and mentally—if we don’t look after ourselves, we can’t effectively support others.
By implementing regular self-care strategies, we can help prevent burnout, maintain physical and mental health, set boundaries, model healthy behaviour, enhance resilience, improve job satisfaction and reduce compassion fatigue.
